You know when I used to write my other blog I did it everyday so as not to disappoint the few readers I had. They used to leave comments in my guestbook or send emails about whatever I posted. Granted they were mostly friends and family and I was sort of almost dying and they would go there and check in because I hated when people asked alot of questions so I directed them there to read whatever I wanted them to know about me, my test results, etc. etc. (BTW I'm totally fine now. I survived Stage 4 Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkins Disease.) Anyway I paid more attention to that blog because I liked the interaction with people. That and I wasn't working for some of the time I was blogging and it gave me something to do all day while I was laying around being sick. So that's my excuse for not paying attention to this one. I'm not sick. I have no big huge news to report. And, I don't have many readers and the ones that read don't leave comments :(
So here is some random stuff that can comprise this post since none of it really warrants its own post.
Let’s see. My mom and I and Joe and my grandma all went to a wedding on Saturday. Well my mom and my grandma left but I didn’t know they left. I went to find her when a polka came on (yeah I polka. with my mom.) and she was gone and she did not even say goodbye. So come Monday morning she writes me an email telling me it would have been nice if I would have said goodbye to her. Now how does that work? Was I supposed to get some kind of telepathic message from her and my grandma indicating that they were leaving? Isn’t it customary for the person leaving to find those they’d like to say bye to and say “ Hey so and so I am leaving now……just thought I’d come over and say BYE.”
Today, August 7, 2008 is Cooper’s fifth birthdayJ My dog is five. I have no kids but I know when my dog’s birthday is. And yes I got him a present. A $5 toy. Usually I would never spend five dollars on a toy for my dog because he just destroys them. But for his birthday, I splurged. The little guy deserves it.
I’ve started dieting and have kept in my calorie for three days in a row. This is amazing to me. Last night I had ONE piece of pizza and salad for dinner. Usually I just give in and go and get more pizza but I didn’t. But I go on vacation a week from tomorrow and I am sure it will be hard to count calories on vacation. I use www.sparkpeople.com to track everything but I am pretty sure the condo where we are staying isn’t going to have internet access. *GASP* A whole week without the internet. What will I do? Well right now I will get back to work and thenI will figure out how to insert a hyperlink into this post so that if someone just wanted to click on spark people they could.

I'm glad you're blogging again! I was keeping an eye on this for once a week for while there, but then I gave up, and BAM you posted! I need to pay more attention. I heart Brookie. :)
