My new iPod and I should have checked my texts

So it is the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning and I had planned on doing a 5k with a friend. Her dad is diabetic and couldn't do the run with her this year but had said he would sponsor her and a friend. So I got out of bed at 7, hopped in the shower and as I was blow drying my hair decided to check my texts and make sure she was running on time. AHHHHHH. She texted me last night that she wasn't going now! Had I checked last night I could have slept in! If you're wondering why I showered before a run it was because I showered yesterday but didn't wash my hair and it was getting a little icky. So now I am awake and showered and blogging.
I think I will try once again to get rid of some clothes. This should not be as hard as it is.
Oh and and and I got a brand new iPod 5th gen. It's pink! (I know, two readers, you both guessed it was purple.....wrong!) It's awesome! Although I believe it won't charge on my non-apple transpod in my car and that is crap.
