We're Engaged!

Well due to blog neglect, you my blog are the last to know. We have been engaged for about two months now. Joe proposed on June 23, 2009 and I said yes, of course. He gave me a beautiful ring with three asscher cut diamonds in it. We're planning a wedding for next summer but haven't picked a date yet.
I have a job now. Well I've had a job since April but since I have been working I haven't had time to post about it. I'm an account manager and sustainability coordinator for ServiceMaster Clean. Basically I do sales and marketing and run our sustainability program which involves reclaiming carpet for recycling in Northeast Ohio. I really enjoy my new job although sometimes I feel like I signed my soul away on a dotted line.
Added on Sep. 27, 2009: So we actually have picked an official date now. It's August 21, 2009. I have asked all of my bridesmaids and the maid-of-honor (technically she's a matron but the word matron is well so...matronly.) This is how I asked them:

I haven't decided if the W refers to "wedding" or "w and stuff in the middle ski" which will be close to my new last name.
