Commitment to a Couch

So I've been in the house over a week now and haven't ordered any furniture. I had been looking before I moved in but I felt like I needed to be in the space and able to measure things in the space. Furntiture shopping is hard. It's such a huge commitment. But this is the one I've settled on. It's kind of big and it might not be the right scale for the room but it's very deep and it's down and you just sink into it when you sit on it. I think comfy wins over scale so it wins. This also means I am going to have to vacuum. Alot. There was this table with four ottomans under it that I really loved but it's huge huge. Like so huge that scale won over comfy on that one. I can't decide on colors other than the chocolate right now so I am getting the couch, ottoman and throw pillows in the chocolate brown and then I will find more throw pillows or fabric to make some. It was hard enough choosing the couch color. It could be months before I commit to pillow fabric.

and I thought Shari had color/fabric commitment issues!
I like the couch though!
Comfort is DEFINITELY more important than keeping to "scale". If you can slide by the couch with an inch to spare on your way to get another drink...IT WORKS!
Will there be plastic on the new couch for the cult event?
Have a great Thursday Brookie!
and thanks for the brief navigation away from ALGEBRA!
Love Brenda

If you get more than one cover for your pillows you can do a color change every season. It's like having seasonal hand towels in the guest bathroom. Isn't that a great idea...ugh! I have to go throw up on Martha Stewart's shoes now.
